Linda was born March 24, 1957 in Del Rio Tx where her dad, Guy Parnell was stationed at that time
with US Air Force active duty. She was the first born of three other siblings, brother John and sisters
Kathleen and Michele. Her mother Dorothy worked different shifts at hospitals as a nurse and Linda
helped her mom by tending to the younger siblings.
At about 15 she married and at 16 on March 17, 1973, gave birth to son Adrian but divorced Joe Jackson soon after. The
many following years thereafter, she had associations with other men the longest lasting 16yrs when a
critical job injury from tree trimming accident took him out.
Linda made the decision in the 80s to become a CNA caretaker to help others off and on as she has done
most of her life. In 1995 she took on a new client Robert Wooten and after about 4mos of working with him
on September 15, 1995 they were married and lived happily until her death parted them on 6/20/22 at
7:45am JPS hospital, Fort Worth Tx. Cancerous mass in throat hemorrhaged near vital veins and critical bleeding could not be stopped.
Survivors include husband Robert of Ft.
Worth, two sisters Kathleen Tompkins and husband Brian of Wharton and Michele Parnell Homberg of Belton;
Brother Paul Parnell and wife Stephanie of Cleburne;
Son A.J. of Fort Worth;
Nieces Renee and Emily;
Nephews Seth, Anthony, Guy, and Tristan;
Four grandchildren
Darian, Jonah, Aaron and Autumn;
Two great grandchildren
And a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly.
She was
preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Hale, earthly father
Guy Parnell, step mother
Bonnie Parnell
and brothers,
Guy Daniel Parnell and John Parnell.
