Funeral services for Bonnie Sue Parnell, 78, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 5, 2022 in Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Ron Strickland will officiate. Burial will follow in Rio Vista Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, April 4, 2022 at Rosser Funeral Home.

Bonnie Sue Parnell passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022 in Fort Worth. She was born May 28, 1943 in Fort Worth to Vera (Seiber) and Raymond Birchfield.

Bonnie was a retired nurse with more than 30 years of service. She had a PHD in Theology and was a musician for more than 30 years.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Guy Neal Parnell; two sons, Guy Daniel Parnell and John Parnell; and brothers, Dennis Birchfield and Jack Birchfield.

Survivors include her son, Neal Paul Parnell and wife, Stephanie of Cleburne; daughters, Linda Wooten and husband, Robert of Fort Worth, Kathy Thompkins and husband, Brian, of Wharton, and Michelle Parnell of Temple; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Steve Birchfield of Cleburne; sister, Peggy Perkle of Midlothian; and a host of other relatives and friends.
